This non-light emitting heat panel is designed for mounting on the underside of a cage roof. The heater provides uniform infra-red radiation over a large area which simulates the basking conditions recommended for most reptiles. The heat-emitting surface never reaches temperatures high enough to burn an animal on contact and no visible radiation is produced. The radiant heat panels are constructed from high impact polymers and fire-proof fiberglass material. The heaters are completely sealed with smooth exterior surfaces so they can be easily cleaned and disinfected as needed.

The heaters have a two wire cord (there are no exposed metal parts requiring a ground). A separate easy wire plug is supplied that can be attached after the cord has been passed through a small hole in the cage wall. Two mounting brackets are included with hardware, only two small holes are required for mounting.
